WE CARE ENOUGH TO DO SOMETHING,, DO YOU?
The United Nations refers to the youth as ‘torch-bearers” of the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development.
The youth have an essential role to play, both as beneficiaries of actions and policies under the Agenda and as partners in its implementation.
It is only if they are educated, correctly skilled and healthy, then can they make their contribution and play their role in sustainable growth and development.
Limitations have been identified, strong & effective efforts have been made to empower & support the youth but there is still a lot more that needs to be done.
“Making it work, is our collective responsibility” (NDP).
We cannot afford to fail.
At Care Enough TDS, we know that an investment in the education and skilling of South Africa’s youth is the most valuable investment in our nation’s future.
By empowering young people today, we are securing a more resilient, skilled, and prosperous South Africa tomorrow.
South Africa is facing a youth unemployment crisis, worsened by weak transitions from school to work, especially in township communities.
Yet we are sitting on a goldmine of talent, held back only by lack of access and opportunity.
We developed six programmes, particularly, our Empowerment Programme, to make a meaningful impact in young peoples' lives.
Our programmes are about unlocking that talent and reshaping the narrative of what is possible for young Black learners from disadvantaged areas.
Care Enough exists to transform lives and communities by investing in education, empowerment, and health.
We believe that South Africa’s future depends on the potential of its young people, and that when the youth are equipped with the right skills, support, and opportunities, they become powerful agents of change for families, communities, and the nation.

We prioritize:
Education Support: Providing textbooks, study guides, uniforms, school essentials and sanitary dignity products to ensure no learner is left behind.
Academic Enrichment: Offering extra lessons, tutoring, and career guidance to improve learning outcomes and open pathways to higher education.
Youth Empowerment: Supporting young people from Grade 11 through tertiary studies and into their first year of employment, building resilience, skills, and confidence.
Health & Nutrition: Promoting access to nutritious food and communal gardens to ensure learners and communities are healthy and able to thrive.
Community Upliftment: Training community health workers, establishing communal gardens, and running workshops that build stronger, healthier communities.
When these programmes are implemented together, they create a cycle of empowerment, where learners succeed academically, families experience relief, and communities grow stronger.
